School Road Gets Bad in Rain
There are 110 students studying from class 1 to 5 and 3 female teachers in the council school of Santosh Colony, Tilapta village of Greater Noida. Due to the rough road leading to the school, it gets 1 to 2 feet mud in the rain. Due to which the teachers along with the students also have to face difficulties in reaching the school.
Administration is Not Taking Any Action
The principal and teachers of the school have complained several times to the Greno Authority for the construction of the road. But no action has been taken. Passing through the mud-filled road has become a cause of trouble for the villagers as well as the children. Principal of the school, Lokesh Kumari told that after the rain the road turns into a pond. Due to which only a few children somehow manage to reach the school.
Relatives Do Not Want To Send to School in Rainy Season
At the same time, due to dirty water and mud on the road, the parents have refused to send the students to school until the road is fixed. The condition of the road is so bad that it turns into a swamp when it rains and becomes a desert when it dries up. The clothes and shoes of the students get dirty when it rains. Everyday children are getting injured by falling in the mud.
Risk of Serious Diseases From Rain Water
At the same time mosquitoes are flourishing due to lack of drainage system. Due to which children are afraid of getting sick. On Thursday also, the teachers have submitted a memorandum to the project officer of the Greater Noida Authority to make way. He says that this problem is not of today. This problem has persisted for the last ten years. Regarding which the concerned officers of the authority do not pay any attention to this.
Bisrakh Block Block Education Officer Yashpal Singh said that the road leading to the school remains unpaved. Due to the rain, there is mud on the road. Children find it difficult to go to school. The Greater Noida Authority has been demanded many times to make roads.
